Fixing a severely blocked toilet Harrow can take up a lot more time than cleaning it. One of the most common causes of toilet blockage is that the material does not move because it doesn’t have enough pressure or force. There are additives that you can use to stop the clog. However, the problem with these additives is that they can create heat and eventually break the bowl. Other problem is when the clog is unreachable due to the toilet design that’s difficult for a tool to handle. When this happens, you can use an auger made especially for these situations.

1. Always remind yourself to work using rubber gloves instead of bare hands.
2. Extend the handle of the auger.
3. Place the auger to the toilet and try to protect the toilet from damage or scratching.
4. Push in the auger until you feel the pressure. The pressure is usually caused by the clog.
5. Rotate or move the handle so it reaches to the desired spot. Break the clog with the hook or by using the cable.
6. Remove any clog as you extend the handle again. You can hook it and put it in the bucket. Remember to clean the bucket properly once your work is over.
7. If the water is already drained, that means the toilet is now working properly.
8. Repeat the augering process in case the attempt is not successful. You can also call a plumbing service to do the work in case of emergency.

Baking soda and vinegar is an ideal solution to remove a clog. Simply pour the solution to the toilet and leave it for 5 to 10 minutes before flushing.
